I am sorry but I do not know where to place this to tell you what is happening and nothing is being done about it. This is from one page. He has 55,000 listings Can you imagine he might only have 15,000 coins but has clogged up the selling area so your coin doesn't have a chance to be seen or sell for that matter. Trouble is he has 55,000 listings and it makes it difficult for a small seller like me to sell, because by the time you get through his listings if you are able to, you are exhausted. I don't stand a chance to sell anything. He has taken over the page. I was looking for a specific coin and was shocked to see 12 listings for 4 coins on one page. Here is from one page. He has an inventory number of his own that is meaningless to us. I will add it because it is in his title at the beginning. Each line is the same coin. Please help and advise ebay of this problem. he sells all coins. us, world, gold, etc.

One other has listed his twice One was listed #FG1 and the other FG2 with different prices on each coin.

same coin
201370336021 fg1
311380490324 fg2 is now 201371995050
The reason the listing ending in 24 was ended by ebay because of double listing so to get around the rule he has now put the other listing under an auction so he still has the same coin listed twice.
Can anyone help to prevent these practices? HELP!!PLEASE!

So what? He is obviously a major dealer with deep inventory. And to think that I thought that coin dealing was free market capitalism at its finest! When did Socialism enter the coin market place? I hope this dealer is so successful he can get a million listings up. It's all about competition and marketing skills.

What exactly would we "do" about a seller in France, anyway?

He should be able to sell all the coins he wants. But is it necessary to list the same coin over and over?

It's almost certainly not deliberate despite the paranoid ravings. Can you IMAGINE the work load if the same coin sells several times at different prices and the Negs that will result.

It smacks of an automated listing program gone rogue. A polite note to the poor slob will probably get some ACTION

I don't get it either? I would LOVE to have the ability and inventory to have 55,000 listings!

Also, from a collectors standpoint, isn't that a WONDERFUL thing? A huge inventory to go through, so many coins to choose from, shoot, if you are a cherrypicker, I'm sure you could have a field day...?

The Seller is blasting ebay with same coins
as he lists same coin 3 or more times

1 on ebay.com
2 on ebay France
3 on ebay Germany
4 on ebay.co.uk UK
and sometimes ebay.ie Ireland

not got 55,000 items just say 10,000 listed 3 or 4 or 5 times

I don't know if this kind of selling tactic works but you do see same coins relisted quite often

You realize that listing items across various ebay nation sites is probably their doing and not the seller's, right?

I am based in UK if I list a item on ebay.co.uk in Pounds Sterling it does not always show on ebay.com your seller ratings has to be a certain number etc.. to show up in international searches.

Seller is definitely listing on 3 or more ebay sites
