i wont post pics of mine but it is white and frosty like thwe one in the following link.(actually, it is a little frostier)

I looked in the guys case and this one is the first thing my eye went to, it looks like a modern proof

at the coin expo a while back I was having fun and making some good deals. any way, fast forward a little into the time I was there and I was at a table with 2 dollars, fast forward again cause I don't want to bore you and one of the coins I walked away with was a 1967 dollar graded SP-67 ultra heavy cameo. I knew the coin was a top pop but I didn't know the population with an UHC designation(ICCS pop is like 120 in the grade). I ended up paying about $100 for it and I was happy. fast forward again, lol and I am offered $100 for it and I say NO! lol. fast forward to this morning and I decide to search past auctions, I got a hit on my search and TADA! I made another good deal without knowing it! http://www.icollector.com/1967-1-IC...HC_i20966977

One thing to remember, is that when it comes to these coins, the price is not dictated by the grade of the TPG. It is ALL about the eye appeal and black/white contrast with the cameo finish.

Note that PCGS grades those as "proof"... here is one that I have handled, that was in a CCCS SP-65 holder. I did not hesitate to crack it out and send it to PCGS. It was absolutely stunning...

now that was a nice score SPP! congrats. if you sold it do you mind me asking how much? the coin I am talking about is just a knock out. she pulled me towards the case from 7ft away. the mirrors are stunning, like I previously said it looks almost like a modern proof. would you say that PCGS is a little more generous on PL/SP coins?

You can't compare PCGS with ICCS with these coins - PCGS factors in eye appeal, up to a single grade point...
