Guys what I am about to tell you will probably make a few of you cringe, others may detest me.

If you are new to CRH PLEASE DON NOT DO THIS AT HOME....

I was at one of my weekly Dump Banks making a "Deposit" ...

( a little back story), this CU is my main everyday bank, my payroll goes into the account, and I usually pay all my bills from this bank. However I never get rolls from them because they charge a fee per roll.

A few months ago one of the tellers asked if I would like some rolls in return, instead of all bills. I said "OK" and to my surprise I actually found some silver.

Back to the story, so as we are wrapping up, the teller says to me that she actually took in some "Real Silver Quarters" earlier in the day, she goes on and describes the leaf pattern from the 20's/30's (MY HEART WAS POUNDING)

I told her that I would take all of her quarters, some dimes.

she happily gave me $500 in coin, and I sped away like a bandit.

Well, I started going through the rolls, and the first one was a bust, all new. the second however came up all 1967 Silver, the 3rd roll the same.

then I grabbed the 4rth and it said RCMP, so I knew there was a roll of 1973 quarters, I was sure this was some sort of estate dump now.

as I was going through the 1973's looking closely to the dots, and the queens hair, I saw this little cutie...

LARGE BUST.... oh YAY!

In all I found 33 x 1968 50% silver quarters and 71 1967 quarters.

I know the rule of thumb is never eat where you dump, however I do my best to wait a week after a dump to ask for coins.

But seriously if a teller at your dump bank told you she had KG5 silver quarters that you would not also be all over that!!

I am pretty sure you would offend more people had you said, "well my dump bank cashier said she had some silver, but I said, 'no, because this is where I dump my coins not pick up coins!'"
