1907 $10 Indian Head Differences? - Coin Community Forum

Willem2904 New Member Norway 44 Posts	Posted 06/26/2015 04:38 am Hi, I have a 1907 $10 Indian Head, and read that there are different types of 1907 $10 Indian head coins (the Normal one, the Wire Rim, and the rolled edge) Mine certainly doesn't look like a wired rim, but I was wondering: How can one see the differences between a normal one and a rolled edge one? I know I should look at the Rim, but it's so hard to see any differences at all. Are there other differences between these coin types? Willem2904 New Member Norway 44 Posts	Posted 06/26/2015 08:15 am I think I've found a difference. It seems all Rolled Edge coins have "dots" in front and behind the text "E Pluribus Unum": The normal 1907's don't have that it appears. Report this Post to the Staff

The luster patterns on the reverse look good, but there is graininess around the date that makes me suspicious. Report this Post to the Staff
