Ebay "private"?

Garoyn Pillar of the Community United States 513 Posts	Posted 06/28/2015 06:49 am Sometimes when I look at the ebay bids for a coin, I see that the bidder is listed as "private listing - bidders' identities protected." What's the deal with that? Some super secret pinky ring club? Are these Arab oil sheiks bidding on my $10 coin? Aren't bidders generally private anyway--x***y? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. For actually the buyers sake when looking at feedback. You cant see exactly what they purchased and for how much. I actually really like this way in dealing with coins and what not on ebay. I always look at other bidders profile to see their bidding history. I once confronted a seller who was shill bidding and a couple of days later his bidders were all under"private listing".
