Hi! I have a one dollar bill with the serial #D81195692A which I believe may be a collector's item but I'm not really sure. I also have a 5 dollar bill with the serial #IK41266637A and another one dollar bill with the #A12225627A
Are any of these worth holding onto?

Pictures would help, but they look like spenders to me.

What makes you think these are special SN's?

The only thing I see that might be worth mentioning are that the letters are from fed banks I see less often. Usually, the bank is either B, C, E, F, G, or L. Maybe that's why they might be worth something.

If you're basing this solely on the serial number & not any other quality of the notes in question, they are spenders.

Well I thought dates were collectables which the first bill has then the second I thought was odd since I haven't seen a bill yet starting with iK and the third bill mentioned had an A at the begining and end of the sn along with tripple 2's. Just thought I'd ask.

I think that all the notes you posted are spenders. And feel free to ask as many questions as you like, that's is how we all learn. Enjoy our great site.

Thank you!! I think I'll still hold onto the one with the date 8,1,1956 in the serial number, it could be valuable to someone out there. And the last numbers are 92 so it could possibly be the year of a grandchilds birth! Yes I'm an optimist ;) It's in good condition so it could be worth more than face value to someone with interest... Just maybe! One can hope!
