Yesterday a friend of mine gave me those quarters that she bought a couple of years ago in a set. Do they worth anything? And are there national park quarters that are painted too? I really like the way they look and I'm thinking about getting one of those fancy-shmancy albums with the 2 pieces of plastic and the coin goes in the middle (7070?) and starting a collection of those. Any feedback would be very appreciative.

Yes! There is value.

To an everyday person, the value is 25 cents.
To a numismatist, the value is 25 cents.
To a novelty collector, the value may be as high as $1 apiece.

They are only . worth $.25 . I have the clad, silver, gold and platinum State Quarters but not the painted ones.

In just silver, the details of the designs all wash together. The painted ones are cool because the paint brings out details of the designs you never knew were there.
And yes there are National Parks painted quarters. They would look nice in a Dansco quarter album, but nicer in a glass top wooden display box.

Painted and plated coins done outside the mint are considered PSD by true coin collectors. No added value.
