I have three coins, which I believe are all considered restrikes. I have double of each of the coins, with one surrounded in a sort of square and the others just the coin. All of the coins have "B.P." and "U.P." on them. I'll list examples of them off of the NGC website.

I was wondering how accurate those prices are on the website. They seem pretty steep.

I have a few of these pieces as well. Struck in 1965 in the US by a private firm. Not sure why they are listed as restrikes rather than fantasy pieces, as they are not copies of previous designs. The prices have cooled down somewhat in the past few years. They were going for $200-$250 for raw examples, now more like $150-$200.

Oh, that's weird. Thanks for the quick reply! Do you know if they're pure silver?

I believe they are .900.

And actually my first reply wasn't exactly right. They were struck in 1965 for a private firm in the US, not by one. And using designs from pattern coins, but not those ever used for circulation or commemorative coins.

Oh, okay! I'm assuming the "cased" ones go for more?
