I've noticed most of you here say bullion coins are worth (about) spot + 10% or even 15-20%. But I'm having a hard time finding bullion coins with such a small premium, at 10%!

Maybe I'm not doing my maths properly?

Can some of you show me some evidence of bullion coins for sale at spot price with a premium of no more than 10%? Or as close to that figure as possible.

bars tend to have a lower premium than coins. Right now many retailers are raising their premiums because the spot price is dropping. It also depends on quantity bought

Here's a $20 Gold piece at less than 10% over melt: http://www.apmex.com/product/9119/2...agle-cleaned

Many foreign bullion coins are available at less than 10% over melt. Krugerrands would be the leading example: http://www.apmex.com/product/62/sou...-random-year

Often Mexican 50 peso coins are among the cheapest -- right now, APMEX has the 1947 restrikes for about 2.8 percent over melt value.

Don't compare prices of bullion to bullion coins.
BULLION is a blob of metal generally in bar form; minimal production costs.
A BULLION COIN is a fancy bullion piece; they cost extra because of the work making dies, preparing planchets, striking process, etc.
You invest in bullion.
You collect bullion coins.
