Obverse: Arabic inscription divided in three lines in Kufic script: La ilaha i- / lla Allah / Ba'albak; annulet between second and third lines; all within two circles with annulets between. Reverse: Arabic inscription divided in three lines in Kufic script: Muhammad / Rasul / Allah; dot between first and second lines; all within two circles with annulets between. Album 282. Thank you, Chrsmat71. Early Islamic coinage is one of my favorite. It's affordable, full of variety, great scholarship, and a very interesting period in history. Early Kufic script can be learned relatively easily for numismatic purpose.
