So I just missed out on a couple of hard to come by Dansco albums (fifty centavos and Mexico one peso 1918-45) on ebay and now I'm bummed that I didnt bid higher. I cant find them anywhere and thought Id check in and ask to see if someone has an extra lying around. I know its a reach but taking a chance anyway. Thanks in advance.

I see nothing at my usual places. Maybe someone else will come by with a source.

I see Chief's Coin & Supply has the 1918-1945 Peso album on their site http://www.chiefcoinandsupply.com/C...o-coin-album

You might call and ask if they have a used one.

One thing I'm unsure about though is Chief's listed the dates for the #7229 as 1918-1945 whereas the Dansco Store says 1898-1909

Now that is interesting. With the population of our country so heavy in Mexicans today, nothing much said about their coins. I know many Hispanic people and I just never asked for any of their coins. I'll start doing that.
As to the Albums, never seen any. That too is odd.

Was that correct dates for the Dansco One Peso album. The one I have starts with the 1910 and goes through 1980's. Also was wondering if there were albums for the lesser coins like 1 2 5 10 and 20 centavo coins. I have only Dansco folders for those coins.

They're not Dansco albums, but Chief Coin Supply has a one centavo Whitman folder and 2 folders for Mexico 5 centavos. I've recently completed both (except for the 1919 5 centavos, which is scarce).

Nicely (in my opinion) the early 5c folder does not include a slot for the 1931, which usually brings >1000 bucks in F-VF.

Another odd feature is that the second 5c folder covers 1954 on, and when it was designed around 1960 it included lots of blank ports for future coins. Unfortunately Mexico decreased the size of the 5c in 1970, so all the (blank) ports after 1969 are useless. It would be nice if they updated and reissued these.
