I like the Soviet one (seriously, how hard do I have to look around to find one? ) and the Finnish one, missing the crown over the Eagle, symbolizing the civil war at the time. Nice pickups!

Nice finds, I'm thinking about starting a small USSR coin collection myself.

Nice pickups. That seller's coins tend to sell for more than comparable examples from other sellers. You can stretch your cash by shopping around a bit once you know which coin you want.

Hello, Tracker! You have picked up some beautiful silver coins and it looks like you're a pretty frugal buyer as well. Please check out the July, 2015, "Numismatist." The article (on page 21) entitled "A Dozen Dollars", should interest you. I especially liked your 20 kopek Russian coin. Everything about it speaks of projecting Soviet strength. Also the Japanese coin appears to be a commemorative of the 1964 Olympics. You've done well. Thanks for sharing. Jack

jbuck - since you mention ebay coin sellers here's something that's been on my mind for a while. I used to purchase a lot from ebay. At some point, and for absolutely NO FAULT on me or my credit/debit card, Paypal stopped accepting my card payments stating they "needed just a few more bits of information." This, after making many flawless transactions. I completely stopped going through Paypal (owned by ebay) and started paying by USPS money order. I have found that many/most sellers will not (can not) accept payments that don't go through Paypal. It's a dynasty that suddenly doesn't feel right to me. Is it just me and my bad luck, or are others just as miffed. I deliberately try to purchase through Amazon now, when I can. That means missing a lot of great deals on ebay. There are still sellers who take USPS money orders, but it's a lot more work for them to go "outside the regime." Jack
