What phone app do you use to calculate the value ("fair" buying price) of junk silver coins based on current spot silver price?

Yeah, I know about the thumb rule of 0.715 ounces of silver for each dollar face value, but that's only a thumb rule and is not exactly correct for every denomination (and only works for some silver US coins, at that). Then I have to multiply by the spot silver price, fudge for dealer profit, tweak for whether silver is going up or going down, adjust for the phase of the moon, modify based on whether I know/like the dealer/seller, and hop up and down on my left foot to arrive at a "fair" price to pay for junk silver.

Ain't there an easier way? Like a phone app?

I ran across an app called "Silver Calculator" (shows on my phone with a button named AgCalc) but I have no experience with it and want to know what *you* use.

Sounds like there is demand for a CCF junk silver / gold / copper / nickel calculator to me.

I use this link...

If my records (and DNA's signature) are correct, it was created by CCF user markn.

Once you have a total weight, use the Spot Prices link on the left (or below).

What I do is check online PM dealers prices (in my case I like APMEX and Provident Metals) and use that as a guide for what the current market prices are. Not very scientific, I know, but it gives me an idea of what I should expect to pay. Both of these sites state their buy price right on the page for the product giving me an idea of what is a fair selling price too.
