Again you forgot the 1979 S Proof set! The type 2 SBA is worth like $45 raw...

ChildOfTheWheat ... I was not intending to make this a 'guide' to every possible variety available in Mint/Proof sets from 1936 to date.

My intention is for my work friend ... with my support ... to get the best dealer value for her inheritance ... and I offered personal variety attribution for those potential coins which I am comfortable identifying.

I did not 'forget' the 1979-S Type II or 1981-S Type II SBA mintmarks .... I intentionally did not include them as I have no expertise and can not honestly provide my friend an attribution.

Feel free to include them in your personal searches!

David

Okay, sorry. I saw that you listed the 1981 S proof set as having MM varieties, and I just wated to point out that the 1979 S proof set had them too. The varieties that make money in the 1979 S proof set are the half and dollar coin.

Thinking about it again ... I'm going to include the 1979-S Type II mint marks ... with hopes that my CCF friends can help me if I get stumped!

Thanks to ChildOfTheWheat for giving me the confidence to do so!

Best - David

I couldn't tell from your note, but the cents 1994-2008 are supposed to be WAM. The ones with CAM are the valuable ones for 1998-2000. I don't know the exact value, but my understanding is that they are quite rare. Don't want you getting excited when you saw the WAM

I am a little late to the party but I noticed no mentioned the 1996 Mint Set for the W mint mark dime, usually goes for more than any other years mint set.
