Help With Counter Stamped Coin

Hello everybody. Need your opinion about Costa Rica coin. It's 1923 1 Colon coin counter stamped on 1903 50 Centavos coin. There is a clear "1923" counterstamped date on the obverse side and supposed to be counterstamped denomination "Un Colon" on the reverse side, which seems to be missed. What's your opinion about that? Is it just worn or was counterstamped only on one side by mistake.

Are you sure it is counter stamped ? It looks
raised,counter stamps are usually incuse.

This is interesting as there isn't much evidence of the other side of the countermark die being present. Hopefully someone with more experience with these has seen this before.

According to the older topic below, Costa Rica revalued its money at one point and used these counterstamps to indicate the revaluation:
