Hello,
Had another cool deposit today. Someone came in with 2300 in non-colorized large face $20's. I sorted through them and $300 of them are crisp uncurculated. I put them aside for later. Is there any potential value there? I already have one for my collection so if there is value I might sell them. I just don't want to tie up $300 if I am not going to make any money after fees or anything on ebay.

It all depends on the series, federal reserve letter, and whether they are star notes.

More info would be needed.

Any fancy SN's as well.Low runs too. Don't keep just because they are crisp.

what print runs would be lower? I see people quote printing runs all the time but I have no idea where they get their information from.

If I were you I'd keep maybe 5 notes. Your odds of seeing new sequential bills not of the current design are rare now. I would keep these for the neat-factor. Odds of them going for anything over face value wouldn't be good. Maybe 10-15 years down the road you can get $22 or $23 for them. If you were selling them on ebay you'd lose out after the fees. (I actually won some * note 20's last year and seller would have made out better by spending them)
