Paul Krugman, a socialist? Bit of a stretch. He is strong into Macroeconomic theory and heavily leans towards a neo-keynesian line of thought. However, this does not make him a socialist per se. That being said, I do not agree with many of the things he preaches. He preaches the printing press as the way to solve all our problems like its scripture and we all know of far thats gotten us (deeper and deeper into a world of hurt). All the influence he has seems to have gone to his head too, so that don't help. We can only hope he has a change of heart soon like Keynes did in his later years.
