Someone posted this coin on a facebook auction group asking ridiculous pricing on it (700+)

You tell me.

Seller's pictures:

Authentic one:

NOW, what I'm noticing is the relief strikes on the seller's one, along with the fact that the animal on the reverse seems to be shrunken and almost compressed. The nose detail on the obverse does not compare at all to the authentic one.

Here are clearer pictures of the coin.

I don't like the looks of it, if not an out right fake than it might be a barbaric imitation. However IMO it's a fake.

cartoonish nose jumped out to me, but I know nothing about ancient coins. Certainly does not look authentic compared to the other picture you posted.

We have only these pictures to go on, not the coin 'in hand', however the
style does not look authentic, compared to known genuine examples.

Price way over much, even if it was genuine.

First impression is that it is a 'dud'

Styles do vary by different mints. When comparing two coins you may have major differences.
That in itself does not imply something is wrong. I cannot make out the reverse mint mark. Your comparison coin is plainly Thessaloniki. If you compare it to a coin from the 'west' you will see obvious style changes.

Hard to be sure but the price alone seems to indicate someone is fishing for suckers

The missing reverse detail also makes me question things.
