Hello Coin Community,

I have another favor to ask regarding the grading / valuation of another coin I inherited. Please let me know what you guys think! Much appreciated.

Nice-looking. I would say around AU-55, with a value in the mid-$400 range.

Detail looks AU and the coin may have been cleaned. These common date bullion pieces have been hit hard by declining gold prices. Melt is ~$260 with a roughly $300 market value for a raw, possibly problem common date. I certified, problem-free AU piece could boost the value to $350 or a bit more.

Agree with BH; he's closer on the money than I was.

Maybe I was thinking of what I once paid for one of these!

Looks like XF-45 to me, if I'm the buyer. As it's a common date, a LCS would probably pay $275 for it with gold at $1100, and resell at $325-$350.

Much halo so probably cleaned. High EF or Low AU for grade, with details likely because of cleaning.

I'd say the $270-$290 range if sold to a coin shop or a dealer. Maybe another $30-$40 to a collector who likes it.

I would say $350-$375. It is in nice condition. Au-53
