Here's another idea. Well Bryan, since you are the owner of many Morgan's. :) How about guessing the total amount of Morgan dollars you have in your collection. mila_ EDITED: Forgot to add a Congrats to your 1 year Anniversary as a CCF moderator!

I think something on the web that anyone could do that would be educational also. Like maybe a coin related web based scavenger hunt. Or just answer some questions, like 15 or 20 questions. Make them from really easy to really hard. Have people email you the answers so that everybody could get a chance. Pick questions that only I would know the answer to so that I'll win.

Post a picture of 4 or 5 of your favorite coins with the dates blacked out. Members must guess the total of all the dates combined.

I like participating in contests where you have to do more than just enter a reply to a thread. So, games, scavenger hunts, trivia, etc... all seem like a good idea to me.

How about a contest where we try to guess where you a bought a certain coin. For example, an Irish coin was bought in Spain. Or how much money a certain coin auction will bring in total.

Congratulations on you 1 year Moderatorship.
I always thought a good contest would consist of guessing something simple like how many ounces of silver one has. Maybe guessing the month and year you got interested in Coin collecting, or even what was the first coin you purchased or received.
Another possible option could be, which coin you would love to own someday.

What's behind the curtain (blob)?
Post an image-- (a person, place or thing)and every day or so you reveal a small part of the image where we would make a guess on what it is.

Have each person post a date, and a type of coin (example: 1997 Jefferson nickel). Put a bunch of change in a jar or other container. Reach in your jar, pull out a coin and see who matches it right or the closest (coin must be right, but exact or closest on the date). You can tell the range of dates if you want.

Or you could create a crossword puzzle, but not exactly like it, maybe submitting each question one by one. For example, 'what is my birthdate'.... Then you could give like clues to it, perhaps a poem or something..... Do it in like many parts...... say 6 parts...... At the end of all six parts, one letter or more can be taken from each part to form another word.... Say you choose to take a particular letter from each part to form a word... You have to give clues about the word first though... This contest idea gives many chances for slip ups and only the ultimate winner will triumph... :DDDDD Cause just one slip up in any of the parts, and you can't form the word.... and the questions don't have to be coin questions, but could be really really random questions, with totally random clues.... This would make it fun for everyone I guess, not just the pros but also newbies like me...XD Phew that was a lot of typing, hope you like it... :DD Owh, make sure the word at the end has a lot of synonyms, so that if people try to take the easy way out by just answering the last word without going through the parts, they wouldn't get it right that easily....

My idea is to have a contest that you show 10 to 20 Morgans you have. You show the obv and rev of these Morgans. The contest is to match them. Who gets the most matchs wins.

Hey Brian, thanks again for the contest. I thought you were picking someone last night. I guess you haven't found the right one yet?
