Hi,

I came across this site whilst googling to try and identify some coins that I've inherited from my Dad. Most of these were bought back in the 1980s at various antique fairs in the north of England. And as you can see from the scan are very hard to identify!

I've attached a scan of the fronts and backs of the coins and numbered them for easy reference.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I kind of doubt that anyone could help you much from looking at these scans. You will need sharper, closer phots. Good luck!

What I can make out:

No. 4 is a 5 Centesimo piece from italy featuring the bust of Vittorio Emanuele II, minted 1861-1867. NO date can be made out though.
No. 6 is a Penny from the UK featuring the bust of George III.
No. 9 is a Shilling from the UK, 1817

#3 was an 80 reis of Emperor Pedro I of Brazil, dated anywhere from 1823-1831, which was revalued by the government in 1835 to 40 reis via a counterstamped "40."
