Does anyone have the card/paperwork that came with any of the non CC GSA uncirculated dollars?

I picked up an 1885-O in a GSA hard pack and it was no problem to find an original hinged box (and even the original mailer), but the card/paperwork is another story. I would like to get it back to the original state but I don't even know what to look for. Thanks.

Hmmmm I'm not sure what kind of paperwork came with the non-CC GSA hard packs.

Surely someone here will know.

I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to find paperwork somewhere from a cracked slab. It'll use the same issue year-keyed serial as the Carson City coins. I've no idea how many actual 1885-O Morgans ended up in GSA slabs, although the Treasury had so many that they were releasing them by the bag prior to the GSA sales.

I found a little more information on these after a conversation at the LCS this morning. My understanding is that they are not serial numbered but have a generic card like the CC dollar hard packs lacking the word "Uncirculated" on the holder.

The non CC GSA circulated soft packs came with a generic "MC" card and the uncirculated hard packs came with a generic "MU" card.

It helps to at least know what one is searching for. It may be a task to locate any though.

Thanks, AS
