2001 RI State Quarter With Two Different Colors

SadiesAngel Valued Member United States 184 Posts	Posted 08/06/2015 2:13 pm Hello again I have this 2001 RI quarter. The front of the quarter appears to be a normal color. When you look at the back it's a yellow color as though someone painted the inside of the back of the coin. The raised part is not colored like the inside of the back of the coin. Except at the bottom of the back there appears to be a little of the yellowish color on some of the lettering. Someone would have to be a good artist I would think to get the color that perfect which is what made me question why is the back of the quarter like this. Is this color normal?
