The OP's coin is great but giving me cold sweats because that is exactly the scenario I dread when roll searching. Find a killer variety only to have it be in horrible condition or ready to turn to zinc dust. (Of course it's possible the Op's buddy was pulling a prank on him since he "buried" it before anyone could confirm it!) Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
