It looks like a straight clip ( not Chipped) but with all that glare particularly over the edge, it's hard to say if it is legit for sure.

DixieJade>>  Can you get closer and clear pictures of the coin. Its to hard to say for sure need clear pics to give a yes or no. If it is a clip it would have a little extra value.A coin is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it some do collect clips

This is not a clip, this is a damaged coin. PMD.

PMDIf it was a genuine clip, the edge would be copper. It has been cut after it was plated exposing the zinc core.

Thank you for posting new pic. As mentioned already, this is PMD and not a mint error. It is an intentional cut.

Altered coin. If it were legit, the straight edge would be plated. FAKE.
