Hi. I believe PCGS have opened offices in Asia. My question is. Are we able to send coins to be graded to Asia instead of USA and if possible is it a cheaper option

PCGS have had a branch in Hong Kong and I know people from Australia
send their coins there but don't know if there are any restrictions

To my understanding PCGS grading fees are the same and payment is in U.S. Dollars

i think even if you send coins to hong kong the coins still go to the USA for grading

The coins that have the serial number starting with 8 are from Asia is my understanding

All coins sent to Hong Kong are then shipped on to the US in batches every month for grading. Only time they grade coins in Hong Kong is during the shows.
Grading fees are the same and postage is roughly $45us to return your coins to AUS which is cheaper than the minimum $67.45us if you submit directly to the states.
