No it isn't, Glenn passed away in March of 2007 and the club is no longer active. The Canadian Association of Wooden Money Collectors (CAWMC) is very active though.

Thanks! I will have to look into joining. Are you a member?
I might have some extra Woodstock, NB trade tokens laying around. If your St.John wooden nickel doesn't sell give me a shout and maybe we can work out a trade.

I am a CAWMC member ... attended their breakfast meeting in Halifax at the RCNA convention. Nice group, here's their website with membership info, which includes free woods every year and a nicely done electronic newsletter:

A trade would be good ... I keep meaning to get a selection of woods on ebay each week, but tend to procrastinate lol.

This is an older thread, but thought it better to post here than start a new one.

The catalogue, Wooden Money of Atlantic Canada, first edition by Rodger and Taylor was listed on ebay (don't know the seller, but they indicate they're in PEI) and I thought I'd point it out because I don't see these catalogues very often. There are three editions in total. I have know idea how many were printed.

Eerie. I just checked my emails this morning. A used reference book seller from Fredericton got back to me today saying he most likely did not have a copy of this catalogue in stock. I then logged on to C.C.F. and seen this.

You could have bought this yourself an got $20 out of me at the upcoming coin show but you tipped me off instead. Thank you so much, chequer. Enjoy your weekend.
