Hey guys, thought all you Lincoln-Heads would like to see this. I'm assuming it was obviously a medal given to the winner of a contest the "Peoria Journal" newspaper put on bug I can't find anything about the contest or this medal or anything really on this medal or any lincoln medal really save one with a dodgy background in the link below. If anyone can find anything about my specific medal I would appriciate the info. To all others, comment on it here. I like how it looks like a smashed Texas Cent lol. What do you think about it

Enjoy this read if you haven't already about another vintage lincoln medal for journalistic type merit:

This Friday at the ANA I pick up my copy of Paul Cunningham's newest book, "Lincoln's Metallic Imagery". I'll look and see if your medal is listed.

Found it! "Lincoln's Metallic Imagery" by Paul Cunningham, Page 185. Paul has created a Catalog numbering system, this item is listed as "C 19-090Bz". Value Code is C which translates to $10-$25.

The book is available at Paul's web site http://cunninghamexonumia.com

Wow pennyguy, that's great thanks! I won't use it enough to justify the $90 price though. Is there any way you can post a pic here of the page. Thanks again!
