Those are all very nice. I really like coins with animals on them.

You had a good day at the market! Glad you had one more day of good weather. It will soon turn cold and stay that way for a long time.

Today I did find some pieces I forgot to take last week. No interesting new coins were visible.
I suppose it was good you left them behind last week so that this week was not a total bust.

The meteorologists of today said there would be snow today, but when I left for the market it was actually sunny, but cold. When I arrived at the market I could see that most sellers had definitely listened to the weather forecast and plenty had simply decided not to come. Others had tarp "tents" put up to protect them from the pretty strong winds.

Nevertheless, one seller had restocked thankfully. Here's what I got:

My-Sunday-Market-Finds
My-Sunday-Market-Finds

10 Øre, Denmark 1920
20 Centimes, Belgium 1954
½ Franc, Switzerland 1977
2 Baht, Thailand 1985 (International Youth Year)
50 Yen, Japan
100 Yen, Japan

(2x) 1 Yuan, China 1985 (Xizàng Autonomous Region according to Numista)
10 Cents, Kenya 1989 & 1994

Everything for 20 SEK.

So today was definitely worthwile and worth the lousy weather that later followed.
Rest in Peace

That's a mice lot of coins! It's great that you can find a really old coin -- 1920! Wow!

I hope you have a mild winter. It's been fairly warm here near Chicago. No snow yet!

It's great that you still have outdoor markets this time of year. The ones here have been closed for a month already.

The record is actually from the 1660's, a while back

We've already had a taste of winter, with about 40 mm of snow coming within 24 hours. I think that's a little bit less than 2 inches of snow. Luckily, that has already thawed away but considering that was early November, I don't know what's coming.

The meteorologists say that this coming (or current) winter will be harsher than normal, as opposed to the previous three winters that have been warm, thankfully. I really don't like winter, I prefer summer

I can't stop stressing it but regardless of weather there will always be someone at the market. Even in a blizzard, when I still went somehow there was someone there. I don't understand some people but I envy their determination

2 inches of snow? That's cute. We already had 2 feet of snow in early November. It's mostly melted away now. New snow will come, though.

Anyway, nice coins! What I really like about this batch is that most coins seem in excellent condition. Good price, also!

Whoops, I got the units wrong, I mean to say 40 cm or about 20 inches of snow.

We'll see how next week turns out

Today gave a more modest mix of coins, but still a fun batch:

My-Sunday-Market-Finds
My-Sunday-Market-Finds
(2x) 1 Pound, Egypt 2008
1 Dollar, Canada 1968

Another brass "Good luck" charm
10 Öre, Sweden 1950
10 Öre, Sweden 1962
25 Öre, Sweden 1945
5 Penniä, Finland 1872

All this for 30 SEK, perhaps not that much of a bargain but a fair price nonetheless.

Nice finds, especially the ones from Egypt.

@UltraRant: Did you have the opportunity to visit the exhibit of the new coins at Norges Bank in Oslo?

You got some great old coins! Even the good luck charm is pretty cute.

By the way, we finally got our first snow, 8 inches and already melting on the streets. But the trees look nice. Wish I knew where my shovels were. Anyway, I think of you shopping for coins out in the cold and hope you keeping warm.

No new finds today. It was snowing the night before and aswell all day today. The forecast said it would snow and so it did. It wasn't worth the effort, so I had a completely lazy Sunday instead. Works aswell!
