The trio was constituted of a newly discovered Fr. 2231-B $10,000 1934 Federal Reserve Note PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40, a Choice Uncirculated Binion Fr. 2231-B $10,000 1934 Federal Reserve Note PCGS Choice New 63, from the famed Binion's Horseshoe Casino display and a high grade Fr. 2221-B $5,000 1934 Federal Reserve Note PCGS Choice New 63.

"The top lots in the auction were indicative of continued demand for rarities and notes in top grades," said Dustin Johnston, Director of Rare Currency at Heritage Auctions. "The top collectors responded to the material with enthusiastic bidding, just as we would expect at an
ANA auction."
Two other notes in the auction topped the six figure mark: an original and attractive Kansas City Fr. 2221-J $5,000 1934 Federal Reserve Note PCGS Extremely Fine 45PPQ, a very rare circulated ultra-high note, realized $111,625, while a Fr. 2407 $500 1928 Gold Certificate PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ proved very resilient at $105,750.
