What I mean is what would happen if the maximum amount of notes that could be printed for a particular series year, 27,648,000,000 notes for $1-$20, or 28,569,600,000 notes for $50 and $100, were to be reached?

Would a new series be required? For instance, 2013 would go to 2013A with no change to the signatures?

Then the U.S. Dollar would crash from the inflation. Well, not really crash, but why would you print that many bills?
