I wondered if it was proof or if it was mint state

When I first saw this I also wondered if it was MS
Nice eye boys

Obverse 4 was a proof obverse for the issue however it was polished and business strikes were produced. Here we have one.
A second proof die (Obverse 5/Reverse E) was used to finish the run of proofs and the date was blundered. The "1" digit was pressed into Liberty's gown, twice.

much tougher in solid MS
This would have been much more solid if not for the staining. 62 is still a nice grade however. Not a lot out there and they only come up here and there at auction in MS62/63/64. There's a couple of MSPL examples on Heritage that have sold over the years.
Thanks for the time to look and guess to all.
