Sell the roll on ebay. And then post the link. Do $7 per coin! I'll pay $7 each for pre 64 90%, $6 for 64s

Ok, I found 5 self rolled Watertown, Wisc wrappers at a bank down here in Tampa. To my surprise 97 of the 100 halves were silver!! I was out of my mind!

I have not done a half dollar collecting. How common is it to find Walking Liberty halves? How common is it to find Franklin halves?

To the OP,

Congrats on your find!

JonNickelCollector,

It is very rare to find walkers or Franklin halves in circulation. I have searched over $4,000 in halves and I haven't found one. It is much more common to find silver Kennedy halves.

CC2012,

I don't know much about halves, very little really. I've heard people talk about 90% silver halves and 40% silver halves. What dates are these?
