Is there any known errors like this or is this just a fluke?

Looks like a strike through error and a nice one at that.

Now I ask .. Is a coin like this worth getting graded?

I would put it in a 2X2. It isn't worth the cost of having a professional grading company encapsulate it unless you just want it that way for your collection. It isn't a high grade coin and even if it was, filled die errors like this are common. In the end, the decision is yours, but if you are doing it to make a profit, you won't.

Thank you I just didn't know if there was any value to it. I am keeping it but I always say if I find any of value id get it graded but I'm finding out to get them graded seems to be more for sellers. Not selling but love to know what all my treasures are worth I'm learning more n more every day. So this error is nice just no value to it?
