The second is a very nice posthumous issue of an aureus of Antoninus Pius. Again...from a decade long soak in olive oil. Patience does have it's rewards! Report this Post to the Staff

If you look at the word 'AVGVSTA' along the right edge...the nose of the portrait is directly opposite the 'G'. You should be able to make out the rest of the portrait from there.
