Having put in a good deal of overtime this weekend I wanted to invest a little into a few coins.

I have a nice long wish list on V-coins, and I thought I would try and remove a few of them...

Cant really go wrong with silver denarius and I thought this one had an attractive portrait.

This is a type that I have wanted for a while and I thought at £42.50 it was cheap enough.

Again a type I have been looking to add, from the same seller as the Euboia coin and again not too dear.

Thessaly Larrissa coins seem to be dear, and one would generally prefer silver coins to bronze ones but I need some more Greek bronzes in my collections. This coin was super cheap and crosses off a type that can be quite pricey. It probably isn't the best but it is centred and not unattractive to me.

All very nice coins. Though the Caracalla is my favorite with the young portrait that shows a bit of his madness in his over-sized eye.

I thought it looked like he was wearing a monocle ^^ though of course such a thing hadn't been invented.

that caracalla is AWESOME...virtus looks kind of like marvin the martin. great details and surface, well centered...nice.

i like the greek mix as well. a euboia nymph and a larissa horse are both on my list as well.

already got a mysia lion/boar/tuna combo...i really like the type.

Love the Euboia one personally, I think that you like me are a bit of a sucker for the greeks! That's a type that has been on my wishlist for quite a while, congratulations on the pickups!
