A certain website had complete list of all the keys and semi keys of different series. I thought I book marked it but can't find it anymore. Can someone please provide me with a link to this site.

I'm looking to buy a semi key as a wedding gift. Can't afford much right now so my budget is about $500. I think it'll be nice to see it increase in value as the years go buy. I know there's no guarantee. I really like the buffalo series and was thinking of a semi key from that series. But other recommendations are appreciated.

Thank you.

If you look on Coinfact's website they list the keys, semi keys and mintage. You could also look at PCGS's or NGC's websites at their price guides - the really expensive coins are the keys .

I'd give the person a gift card from a local coin dealer. This way they can pick what they want. You could include it with a Proof set for the year they're getting married.

Or just look through your RedBook and whatever has a significant price increase from the other coins in the list are the keys/semi keys.

Thanks, I was going over the prices in Coin Values but some prices are off. Red Book might be better.

Since it is a wedding gift, how about a 2008 Aussie Wedding Set?

BTW, that link is a shameless plug for the store of one of our members, Bigfella

I did think about it but the reason I decided on a semi key is that it'll be nice to look back after many years and see the value.

Since they are getting married in 2008 maybe something from a century or two ago marking the same year. Like a 1908-S Indian Head penny or an 1808 1/2 Dollar?

With that budget you can get a key. Try one of the 1921 Walking Liberty halves or the 1885 V nickel. The Smint Indian Heads were also a great suggestion.
