Perth Mint - The final release from the highly sought-after Goddesses of Olympus 2oz Silver High Relief Coin Series portrays Aphrodite. Featuring another superb design by Tom Vaughan, the coin's intricate detailing is struck in high relief with an 'antiqued' finish. Here we present a guide to themes and motifs explored on the reverse.

She just happens to bear a striking resemblance to Angelina Jolie. I suppose since many consider her to be the most beautiful woman in the world, that would make sense. Even her breastusses look very much like her's. I wonder idf he would own up to Angie being his model.

junior....she is beautiful but I will have to pass as much as I would have liked to pick this one up. Too many pretty coins for the coin piggy bank lately.

Yes Debra. This Series is just crazy. I really can't for the life of me figure out why the Perth Mint went with this low of a mintage for the Series. It only causes problems. Like me. I was watching TV, and this coin comes up with a 1500 mintage , so I bought one. I had no idea what I was in for, but the box and everything are so cool. I am having trouble parting with it.
Then, when You want it, I post some beautiful pictures of the most in-demand modern coin, and someone flushed them down the toilet.
Two days ago, Provident Letal had three of them for $790, and they are all gone. That tells me that current market value is over $800.
The pictures that I posted, were at the very least educational. I doubt if very many people know that there is a current modern coin moving to $1000 each. Look at the 95W Silver Proof Eagle, with a much higher mintage that has sold for $26,000 and more. I don't know why they flushed it. I've been in China, and must have missed a rule change or something.
Be careful though Debra. Go onto <Staff Redacted>. There is a Chinese counterfeit Zeus that sells for $43, and it isn't even real silver. My photographs could have helped someone from making a $760 mistake, but John1 obviously knows what is good for everyone else. Thanks John1. L-O-S......oh, never mind.
