I just saw on the U.S.Mint site that towards the end of this month they will release a "50 State Quarter Proof set" ?
It DID NOT SAY A "2008" Proof set
So........ Is there going to be an entire all 50 state proof set released ? Surely not........
Gotta be a typo on their part........ they surely just left off the "2008" part !!
Anybody heard something interesting here that I don't know of ?
And If it is all 50 states........HOW MUCH WOULD THAT COST ?
Just curious.......

The following list displays the United States Mint's 2008 products and their dates of availability. This list will be updated periodically as dates for products being released later in the year have yet to be set. All dates are subject to change by the United States Mint without prior notice.

Availability Date Product Description
January 3 American Eagle Silver Proof Coin
January 15 Bald Eagle Commemorative Coin Program
January 17 Kennedy Half-Dollar Bag and Two-Roll Set
January 17 Golden Dollar Bags and Rolls
January 24 United States Mint 50 State Quarters Proof Set™
January 28 Oklahoma Quarter Bags and Rolls

Its gotta be the 2008 quarter set. It dosen't say 2008 for anything else either. "Golden Dollar Bags and Rolls" not "2008 Golden Dollar.......

I guess its implied that all the coins are dated 2008.

I agree, it must be the 2008.

Imagine the price crash of the 1999 sets if this were an "all 50 pieces" proof set available in either clad or silver!
