The 1946-S Lincoln Cent seems to have several examples online of die strike through grease. In my example of a coin Struck Through Grease, you can see how the lettering is flattened similar to the mint mark on your cent. Struck Through Grease is just a possibility.

Looks like PSD to me. A close up on the mint mark might help.
