Well, maybe there is something better.

My LCS would have charged $3.25 for that, no matter what it was. So hey, $0.25 matters in the silver world, lol. I'll probably just make a lot of several Barber quarters and throw it up on ebay. I don't know if I have a 1899 P, I believe I do.

When I say it doesn't get better than that, I found this auction last night. There's a return policy so if it's not what I believe it is, then I'll just return it.

Tell me if you see what I see. It was a $5 gamble, if it is what I see, then it's an easy $15 coin with those details. If it's not what I see, it's worth melt + a bit.

1901 S? Picture quality is bad, but you can kind of make out the top loop of the S.

I think I can see almost the whole S. In the "Item Specifics," seller says 1911, but probably a typo. Looks like a nice little pickup

It'll be awesome if it's a 1901 S Barber dime. Might just end up keeping it if it is. Kinda wanted to sell it and then upgrade to a better coin later on down the road.

The only reason why I'm talking about selling so much lately is because I have a lot of extra "stock" laying around here now. I want to sell my extras so I have room for next year and stuff like that, better upgrade coins.

I can see a bit of a mintmark, so it's either 1901-O or 1901-S.
Rest in Peace

I think most would take a gamble on that coin for the price you paid. I wish you luck!
