I'm going to go with an XF-40. Weak strike and some wear.

Really like the look of it, though!

XF-40, but the strike looks like a typical weak one.

I'll go with VF-35. [don't put much stock in my opinion , I don't know the series well]

At first glance I thought vf25 right away,but upon closer inspection I believe this coin to have been weakly struck,therefore getting a higher grade then what the consensus feels is right. I'm going to take a guess at a Au52 and if its not weakly struck then I am at a vf35-xf40 range.
Anyway a lovely piece to have nonetheless and even better is it has a fancy mintmark on the back which adds to its intrigue.

What a wide range of guesses! A few of you did get it right. I personally think PCGS got it right taking into consideration the weak New Orleans reverse strike. So here is the answer............
