A circulated quarter from what I can see. One of many commemorative issues over the last 25 years. Good luck with the stamp organizing.

Nothing special.

Just a plain quarter but it made me wonder, can you buy anything for a quarter?

Would this quarter have been available in a special edition uncirculated set?

3 minutes on a parking meter...
1/10 of a cup of coffee...

I'd still pick one up if someone left it on the ground though. Score!

The 2006 Bravery quarter was not made available in mint-issued uncirculated sets. The mint released this quarter in a First Day folder and in circulation. To my knowledge, First Day issues are not considered Numismatic BU or MS-NC or whatever, meaning this quarter is only available in a business strike.

There is one point making this quarter special, it's the lower than normal effigy. Comparing with other quarter design, you can see the effigy is more flat. I guess the reason is to ensure the other side has enough height for the design.
