So I bought a 2013 silver proof set. I had a close look at the nickel and there is some dark red material on the edge. I did my best to photograph this but it was difficult to get a good shot.

Please let me know what you think is going on with this coin.

Looks like its toning because its silver.....seen it before on many proof silver sets
