I am OK with EF 40, but it wouldn't make VF with British grading standards. That is OK, because it is not a U.K. coin.

I think that current Sheldon standards are becoming easier, and that British grading standards have remained stable or are getting a little tougher, especially for U.K. coins.

I hope Photograde do not quietly revise their excellent photography at any time in the next 50 years. What is needed is grading stability.
