I thought I had identified this coin as a UMAYYAD, silver dirham, Al-Samiyyah, 131 AH (749 AD) from various websites. However, a buyer on ebay has sent me the following message:

"I'm interested in buying this coin but you have it listed incorrectly which may make others pay too much. The mint name on this coin is al-Andalus because it is Spanish Umayyad and very clearly read at 7 o'clock."

Definitely do not mean to misrepresent the coin. Anyone able to translate the 7 o'clock?

I going to move this over to the Ancient/Medieval coin section for more help in attributing this coin.
