If it goes in the rims it's a
Retained Cud, if it stops at the rims, it's a retained pre-cud die break. If it shows design/devices, that's what makes it retained.
A true
Cud is completely broken from the die. If it doesn't fall out it creates
Retained Cuds. If it falls out, the die creates
Cuds (blobs).
