CoinMasters Pillar of the Community United States 5964 Posts	Posted 09/15/2015 8:32 pm If it goes in the rims it's a Retained Cud, if it stops at the rims, it's a retained pre-cud die break. If it shows design/devices, that's what makes it retained. A true Cud is completely broken from the die. If it doesn't fall out it creates Retained Cuds. Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 09/16/2015 10:58 am It is only a Retained Cud if the piece of the die has broken loose and shifted position. if it hasn't shifted position it is still attached to the die body and the die is merely cracked. If the piece has fallen away then it is a full Cud. Report this Post to the Staff
