The mintmark is damaged, not an RPM/OMM.

Yes I was thinking the same thing with
how the D at the tip looked chipped.
I was wondering what the shadow around the D
was. That's what was making me question if it
was another D underneath that.

That's what he meant that it was some other object that hit the coin and dented it. Most likely another coin caused the damage but who knows.

Thank you tweak800. Besides the part of the coin that is dented, do you have any thoughts
as to what the shadow is around the D? I had thought it looked like a D underneath, no?
