Inmy opinion stamps are fun to look at but are constantly loosing their value--I could never spend more than $10 on a stamp!!

I went to a stamp show last year. Absolutely awesome looking stuff.

But you definitely need to be a "collector" and not an investor.

Many of the shows around me are usually adverised as Coin/currency/stamp/card shows. I haven't seen a card or stamp being sold at any of them in years. The governement distroyed the stamp collecting system with their tons of stupid stamps like Elvis or who knows what. I used to collect stamps but just gave away the entire collection from when I was a kid. Had a difficult time even giving them away. Amazing that so few collect stamps today. Sort of went the way of the Beanie Baby.

I happen to think stamps are very important.










Without them my payments for coins would never get delivered by the post office.
