I was absolutely floored by this auction at the 2015 Sep 17-22 Expo World Coins Signature Auction.

The obverse has a D/D in DEI and A/A in CANADA that is also found with the 1858/1558 variety, however, from my experience, these dont tend to see any premium at coin shows or Canadian auctions.

This particular coin sold at a stunning $3300 CDN before taxes! . The trends is $750 and I've seen these sell for $300-$400. To be honest, I thought I was insane for chasing it up to $1400.

I guess Canadian variety collecting is quietly changing.
